My Macro Dinero project is a series of up close photographs of vintage currency from around the world. I use cropping and scale to focus on intriguing compositions found on de-monetized bills that I have collected during my travels. A macro lens and a high resolution digital camera allow for extreme enlargement. The composition is cropped in tightly on a section of the note that is only a few inches then it is blown up to be large scale.
